Floyd Ciruli is a Colorado native from the southern city of Pueblo. In 1975 he founded Ciruli Associates, a research and consulting firm specializing in public policy, community and cultural affairs and strategic planning whose clients include major corporations, business and civic associations across Colorado.

Since the 1988 election approving Denver International Airport, Mr. Ciruli has served as a political commentator and pollster. Today he is widely quoted as a premier source of analysis for local, state and national issues as they affect Colorado.

Mr. Ciruli has provided polling and political commentary for NBC affiliate 9-KUSA TV, The Denver Post, The Rocky Mountain News and KOA Radio. He is a panel member of "Colorado Inside Out," a weekly public television program on current events. He has appeared on "ABC Nightly News," "Nightline," the "MacNeil/Lehrer News Hour," CNN, "Nightline" and National Public Radio, and has been quoted frequently in such publications as the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and USA Today. He is listed in Who's Who in American Politics.

He began his career in Colorado after earning a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, a law degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and serving on the staff of former U.S. Congressman Frank Evans.
